10 Days Post-Op Breast Augmentation at WOOA Plastic Surgery Clinic
Hello everyone! Jolene here.
I just wanted to talk about my post-surgery experience.
I went in to get my stitches removed yesterday!
I can't wait to show you the results when I have a little less bruising.
So I am 10 days post-op! I wanted to give a rundown.
I got medicine to take for two days before the surgery. Before the actual surgery, I got a prescription for 10 days to take after the surgery. (Painkillers included but only taken when necessary)
I went into surgery in the morning and I was a bit scared. At first I was so casual but I'm always nervous about anesthesia.
When I woke up, I felt some pain and a bit dizzy. The nurse encouraged me to not sleep and breathe the extra medicine out of my mouth. After being discharged from the hospital (about 2 hours post-op), I took a taxi home and slept anyway.
I was surprised at how much I didn't feel "something" on my chest, but I was wrapped tight.
I went to the hospital the next day and they took off my bandages. I was switched to a surgical bra and compression band. I wore this for one more week.
*Compression band and surgical bra was the hard part. I was trying to hide it under my clothes, but you know the weather was hot again in Korea! Probably it could be easily hidden under a sweater.
After getting a regular sports bra a week later, I feel more like myself! And it's a bit shocking. My breasts are much heavier haha I mean sometimes I'm shocked when I see myself in the mirror because the cleavage line is so beautiful.
I got my stitches out so I feel a bit free! I'll share photos in a few more days after healing.
Here's some things I didn't know:
*Cannot shower for one week post-op. You can do a partial shower but stay away from the stitches.
*You should sleep on your back only and at a higher angle. I'm normally a back sleeper so no problem! But if you are not a back sleeper, consider this point.
*I did feel pain for the first 2-3 days.
*I thought I couldn't lift my arms above my head, but after a few days, I didn't feel much soreness.
Please let me know if you have any questions! I'd love to help!
